What is container repositioning?
It is moving a container from a location with surplus equipment to a location where it is needed. VVI also sources cargo or a company needing transport on that route, to help make the voyage more affordable.

What should I include in a quote request?
Please include collection and delivery locations, container size and type, quantity, intended use and preferred dates. For rental or leasing, add the expected duration and return location if known.
Are all transport and destination charges included?
Check the specific quotation. Ask for collection, sea freight, port handling, customs-related services, onward delivery, taxes and any other applicable charges to be identified as included or excluded.
Can I choose a specific delivery date?
Tell us your preferred date when you enquire. Any proposed schedule should be confirmed for the route; sailing schedules, port operations and onward transport can affect timings.
